A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of Bloomfield College. I majored in education. I worked very hard for this degree. It took me five years to complete. I tutored children from the 2nd to the 4th grade in a tutoring program on the college campus. During this I tutored them in math, reading and sometimes writing. During the education program I learned alot about different things children learn and how some children learn.

I enjoy helping people learn something new. I think anyone can do anything they put their mind to. I would allow the student time to get to know me so they would feel comfortable with me. Students sometimes feel too vulnerable to try things when they don't know someone because they do not want to make mistakes. I would let them know that the only way to get better at something is to make mistakes so they can learn from those mistakes by making the appropriate corrections. Confidence is key. Positive work ethics allow me to help and give students the confidence necessary to complete anything put before them.
