Coming from a family of academicians, and a father who has a doctorate in education, I learned to love learning at an early age and have always valued education and try to instill that in others. I am proficient in many areas and work well with all people from all walks of life, at varying levels. My experience comes from being in a helping profession, in which I assisted hundreds of people live up to and achieve their highest potential. Having three children of my own with varying learning styles, as w well as working with other children and adults, enhanced my my ability to understand individuals and how they learn.

I am a very laid back, easy going person. My teaching style typically incorporates both written and visual so there is something for all types of learners. The student has the answers, I merely guide or tweak those answers to get the correct expressions. There is always a way to explain a concept to get the underlying comprehension for everyone.
I have extensive knowledge in the Sciences with six years of biology classes behind me. I have also tutored fellow students in Biology and Chemistry while earning my bachelor's degree. From there, I taught Biology labs (General Zoology, Marine Vertebrates) while earning my master's degree. And now, I am a college Anatomy & Physiology professor.

As an university graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree in accounting, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, all phases of accounting and financials. With my experience in many classrooms, I am a firm believer that all children can learn. However, each child has different needs, and they will learn in different ways. As a teacher, I try to provide instruction in a variety of ways to accommodate to a variety of learners. Many struggling students will succeed if material is taught in a different form. Hands-on and discovery learning are both excellent ways of adapting for students. I hold two bachelor degrees, a BSBA in Finance and a BS in Computer Science, which allowed me to experience a breadth of academic classes and experiences. During my undergraduate years I spent three semesters working in the university math department tutoring intermediate and college algebra.
