I have private tutored almost all throughout college, mostly because I had many international friends in desperate need for English help. I taught English in Korea; the first 5 months being beginner English (to preschool to fourth graders) and the last 7 months I taught actual subjects children in America learn but at advanced levels (from 3rd grade to late middle school). The way I teach is different for every grade level. I check out the book, get to know the student and find a path to which the child can learn easily and find the subject interesting, no matter who the student is. I don't give up easily.

To be able to help students reach their goals, I have based my teaching philosophy on 3 responsibilities that I believe an educator has to their students: 1. An educator is responsible not to just instruct a student on a subject, but to teach them how to critically analyze a problem and provide them with the tools to identify solutions to future questions. 2.
