I enjoy teaching and use a variety of different methods. I incorporate different activities into each lesson to reinforce what we have learned. With my younger students I also incorporated a lot of music into the class that helped them with their verb conjugations, pronouns, etc. To keep the students' attention I am always keeping them moving, whether it be with an activity or just simply writing phrases on the board. I have been a physics and mathematics tutor for my fellow students at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario. Also, I served as a physics T.A. at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before I transferred to Waterloo. Finally, I was a substitute teacher for two years at Belmont Middle School and Belmont High School, in Belmont, New Hampshire.
My teaching style is simple but effective. With mathematics and physics, the student retains an idea, with the added benefit of a solid intuition if he or she is fortunate enough to work through a problem using his or her's own insights. A Little Bit About Me...

Before attending college I worked at an after-school program in Boston that served k-5 students. This program focused heavily on homework completion and educational activities. During college I tutored fellow students through a TRIO program and through the althetic department in numerous courses in psychology and French, mainly statistics.
