Experienced Educator Available To Tutor

I taught high school English for three years. My students ranged from far below basic to advanced. My students consistently showed improvement in their standardized test scores and over 95% of my students passed the course. Also, Over 95% of my sophomore passed the CAHSEE. My comments on tutoring Grammar : I have taught this subject at both primary and secondary levels in my school district.

I have worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for the past 8 years. I am currently attending school to become a special education teacher. I have experience teaching many different students from various grade levels and have tracked their academic progression. I have ran several reading and math interventions for my school sites for kindergarten through 8th grade.
Interactive modeling of examples, repetition, and simplifying subject matter are key components of my teaching style. Many students have difficulty relating to academic material due the lack being given time to practice example assignments. I also teach universal strategies of how to study material to fully understand assignments.

Academic Learning to Standards and Beyond!

University of California-Berkeley graduate in individual major titled "Diplomacies to End the Division of Europe-1949-1990." Tutored English to German students in Germany, and returned to America to "give back". Specializing in one-on-one tutoring with resources and interactive activities found on the internet as well as worksheets on paper.
