I have a way of perceiving the difficulty the student has, and am able to explain the material in a simple way that makes it easy for students to grasp. My teaching style focuses on modeled and guided discussions so that students can talk through their understanding so I can remediate and reteach to ensure that they are learning and they find confidence in their learning.
During my undergraduate, I had multiple field studies in middle and high school classes. I also had to tutor elementary students through my college for certain reading classes.
