15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have been tutoring for over 15 years both in students homes or at public locations such as coffee shops or the public library. My education and experience are broad. I was educated at "Ivy League" level schools and purposefully educated myself in a large variety of the humanities, which in essence all tie together. Basic courses up through most High School material outside of the Humanities are not difficult. Actually, while my education has been primarily in the Humanities, the material I see the most in tutoring is Algebra and Geometry!
I have a way of perceiving the difficulty the student has, and am able to explain the material in a simple way that makes it easy for students to grasp. My comments on tutoring Geography : I have a full curriculum available and can easily adjust that to what is needed from grades 7 to 12, or work with the material the student has available. I teach this subject currently to my own child who is home-schooled.

I lived most of my life in Germany and went to school there. I finished school with an Abitur (13 years of education) After that I started university however I met my husband and we started a family instead and I moved to Florida. Here I have been home-schooling my child and taken care of all of her educational needs. Due to my experience with home school I have researched most topics I teach to the absolute max, created lesson plans tailored to my daughter's skill and needs. I have a vast repository of curriculum and information available and will always adjust every lesson to the student's needs.
I like to mix between book learning, reading and if appropriate games and fun activities to break up the learning into interesting segments. But this very much depends on the student.
