I tailor my teaching style for the students. For example, formal and delegation styles are both required when teaching children due to course content and resources. Precise verbal instructions are needed with children because of attention time and listening skills aren’t always mature. I believe that all children are capable of learning; however it is important to remember that children have various learning styles. Some children may be auditory, textile or visual learners. My approach to teaching is a hands-on style where students can learn material through experience and discovery. My goal is to provide students with a good education while giving them strategies for learning and studying. I believe that if students are not understanding a certain subject, it is important to change the style of teaching to better suit the child.
