Science and Math Tutor!

As a supplemental instruction leader, I created and lectured curriculum based lesson plans three hours a week to college students. I would teach anywhere from one student to multiple students. I tutored students in various levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I provided assistance with test-taking strategies and study skills for college mathematics courses. Over the past few months I have been involved with substitute teaching in Richland School District 2. Since being involved I have gotten very much involved in every aspect of teaching. I went back to college to pursue a career in education. While in college I tutored basic math skills to college students and worked with middle school students under a grant program called GEAR UP. I am in my fourth year of experience in the secondary education classroom. The trend now in SC is to hire only secondary teachers with a Masters level of education.
