It is my responsibility to ensure that all children receive the knowledge and tools necessary to reach their full potential.” I think learning needs to be presented in different ways for children to learn because I do not think there is one “right” way to learn. Since not all people learn the same, I try to make sure that I can think of fun, creative, and unique methods for presenting materials. As a graduate assistant teaching a section of College Algebra at Minnesota State University, Mankato for past three years, I have gained a tremendous amount of experience and insights to become a successful educator and a leader. Now that I have completed my Masters degree in Mathematical Statistics, I want to continue to help students achieve their goal. I have also taken a course "Mathematical Problem Solving and Mathematical Modeling for Teachers" during my graduate studies which has helped me adopt and engage in heuristic teaching method.

I attended the University of North Dakota for 4 years and in that time received a BA in Anthropology which has provided me the experience and knowledge of helping people in holistic ways. I now attend graduate school to obtain an MS in Applied Anthropology. Just about every semester I have written a 7-15 page research paper and have written several other essays, reports, and assignments in general. I have also done research for domestic violence organizations and helped teach college-level introduction courses.
