I am a driven individual who has obtained a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Child Welfare in addition to a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. While attending graduate school I worked as a substitute teacher which allowed me to gain experience working with children of various ages and levels. I enjoy working with children and families and being able to positively impact and enrich their lives. For the past 7 years I have taught psycho-educational groups, in my most recent place of employment I worked hands on with young adults helping them develop independent living skills. I am fluent in Spanish as I grew up speaking the language in addition to some formal education to improve on grammar and spelling.
