With my Bachelor's degree, I began tutoring through Reading Success and conducted private tutoring of Georgia History. I progressed to teaching English, Spanish, and some Special Education Resource classes at the High School level, and continued to teach lower level English classes at a local college along with reading in an Adult Continuing Education program through another college. My writing skills have been sharpened as I edited and wrote articles for newsletters, newspaper releases, and in an administrative capacity.

I love being around and teaching kids. I am constantly around kids now. I am a single parent of a 10 year old dughter, and i am very into her school. First off i don't believe that a kid is dumb or doesn't know how to do anything. Children only know what we teach them. So if a child doesnt know how to do something it is a reflection on the teaching that he/she has had. I have never had a kids come to me and leave without learing more than they knew before they got to me. I believe in practice makes perfect, especially in math. To be great at math calls for repitition. The more you do the better you will get at it. I spent 4 years in college teaching preschool, as well as 2 years as a high-needs reading tutor for the psych dept at my university.
