I graduated from Saint Joseph College with a BS in biology, which allowed me to build a foundation within life sciences and mathematics. I learned critical skills that allowed me to develop excellent grammatical skills through generating numerous lab reports and research papers. I continued my education by obtaining certification in histological science, which allowed me to have hands on experience. It also landed me an internship at Pfizer. My goal is to help your child achieve success. I explain real-life applications of the subject (i.e., metric system--repair of foreign cars.) I encourage questions and dialogue. I use praise when warranted but am firm on deadlines and honesty. Aware of attention span, I take appropriate breaks or switch to another subject. I remind him to read and follow directions and to check his work over before he hands it in. I believe that in this fast-paced technical age your child needs the best chance possible to compete successfully.
