I then moved on to college where I studied math and computer science. I was a teaching assistant for Calculus I and II. My comments on tutoring Math : After teaching high school math for 16 years, I started pursuing my doctorate in mathematics education. After 16 years of high school classroom teaching experience in Missouri, I decided to pursue my doctorate in education at UK. I'm certified in secondary math grades 7-12 in both Missouri and Kentucky and have 4 years of college level teaching as well. I also taught the secondary Practicum for prospective math, science, social studies, and language arts teachers. I earned an educational specialist (ABD) from the University of Kentucky. Teaching confidence through kindness and success

I taught high school social studies for 26 years at Tates Creek High School, primarily as a psychology teacher. I also taught a year at Tates Creek Middle School in the areas of Citizenship and American History. Since retiring, I spent five years as a substitute teacher in the Fayette County system, teaching everything in the areas of math, science, social studies, English and also in a variety of elective studies- from creative writing to geometry and history to earth science. Experienced Tutor with Expertise in Math and Social Science

I can make learning fun, No Doubt!

I am a junior at EKU working toward my Bachelor of Science. Education major with concentrations in Math and English.
