My comments on tutoring Writing : I have taught first grade for most of my career, thus I teach handwriting on a daily basis.

Teaching has always been my passion. From babysitting to leading summer camps, I have always enjoyed helping children learn. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish endorsements. I also have a Master's degree in Reading. I have been teaching elementary students for 8 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade students in the classroom. I love teaching young students and seeing them grow and succeed. My favorite part is when they have the "lightbulb" or "ah-ha" moment. Prefer to facilitate learning and provide more hands on activities. Try to connect reading with writing as the two subjects are very much intertwined in the skills they take. Great at teaching across the curriculum to help students in subject areas that require reading of nonfiction
