My comments on tutoring Geography : I have taught physical and social Geography.

I am a great speaker, and I can easily relate to my students. I push my students thoroughly to reach their objectives, because I do not believe there is anyone who cannot learn a subject. I have noticed a couple things in my years tutoring people in math. I have noticed that many people have trouble with the fundamental concepts of fractions, decimals, order of operations, and adding/subtracting positive and negative numbers. If a student does not have these concepts together much of the 'higher level' mathematics can seem a blur and highly confusing. I have also noticed that students like real world or relevant examples when learning a new math concept. A Little Bit About Me...

I began tutoring while in high school, as a junior and senior I would spend 2-3 afternoons a week at the Middle School helping the learning support classes write book reports. While in college at Slippery Rock University, I put up flyers around campus and worked as an independent tutor for five dollars an hour aiding my fellow students finish their final papers at the end of each semester.
