The students I enjoy working with most are teenagers. They are in a truly dynamic phase of growth, in that their intellects are blossoming in ways that are entirely new to them, while their emotions and bodies go through great and often difficult translformations. The power of these changes, along with their curiosity and insight, can be harnessed to create very exciting learning experiences. I love working with students and it is such a joy to watch them learn. I understand that every student has different needs and learns things in different ways and at their own pace. I am kind, patient, and understanding. I believe students learn through discovering the right ways to do things and the reasons, not just regurgitating what an instructor tells them.
