I have discovered that every students is capable of achieving greatness if someone will take the time and effort to learn their learning style. I pride myself in being able to break things down to the most basic levels if necessary in order to reach a student. Often you have to know a child's personality, background, and home life in order to understand what he or she relates to. I don't believe in teaching a subject, I believe in teaching a student. I have enjoyed working with children for a long time. In high school, I volunteered at a Summer Reading Academy for elementary school students. I have a bachelor degree from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Cognitive Science and minoring in Linguistics and Computer Science. One summer, my internship was working at a Teach For America training campus. I will obtain my master degree in business (MBA) from the University of Memphis in December 2010.
