I Help Students Tackle Math With Confidence!

I have enjoyed the personal gratification of tutoring since high school. Since I was 15 years old, I have shared my knowledge and love of mathematics with people of all ages. I attended Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology, where I received my Bachelor of Science in both Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. I also tutored my peers at these institutions. I work for a community college and have done advising, enrollment, testing, phone directory, and student sevices. I have attended many professional development workshops on education.

GED is one of my top subjects!

I am a college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science emphasis on Mathematics. I have been an educator most of my career. My comments on tutoring GED : I have tutored students preparing for the GED.

It is important to me that all children reach their best potential in whatever grade I am teaching. I have been in the teaching profession for 20 years and each day brings something different. In 2007 I had the wonderful opportunity of being one of two teachers at the Ann Arbor Academy's lower school for students with learning disabilities. I have worked as a Teacher's Assistant for three years where I did extensive tutoring with one student over the course of the year.
