Throughout college I tutored elementary students for a tutoring company that worked with students in an urban district in Pennsylvania. My tutoring experiences are in K-1 and grade 3. I graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2013 with a degree in elementary education. I moved to North Carolina from Pennsylvania in 2013 to pursue my career in teaching. I graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Elementary Education (K-6) as well as Reading Certification (K-12). Once I was accepted to NC A&T, I realized that I had developed a fear of math and did not understand basic algebraic concepts.
