As a graduate of a writing and publishing Masters program at DePaul, I learned and practiced the art of writing in many genres including Non-Fiction, Poetry, Travel Writing, and others. I also took a course on Teaching Literature, where I learned about pedagogy and what it takes to teach literature to students. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate years of schooling, I have taken many classes that helped me work on my writing skill and production. In my undergraduate studies, I volunteered as a high school athletics coach and took advantage of opportunities to lead college lectures in History, American Literature, and Philosophy. As a graduate student I continued this passion as a volunteer teacher at Community High School in Ann Arbor; there, I used my experience in athletics as a volunteer teacher of a fitness course, and I designed a course on Social Rebellion through Literature which I volunteered to teach as well.
