A Little Bit About Me...

As a person who has grown up in Pakistan, studied in the UK and is now in US, I can communicate and understand different kinds of people. I have taught as a temporary teacher in a school called Education Bay in Karachi, Pakistan. I have also taught at a special children institute for 2 years in Karachi, Pakistan. I also taught voluntarily in university to those who were struggling with the subjects I was strong in. These include Mathematics, Economics, English and Accounting. I have strong grammatical skills as my degree required me to write many essays, reports and papers. I have also gotten published in DAWN Newspapers in Pakistan. My teaching style may vary depending on the student. I would have to get a feel of what the child like and dislike about the subject he or she is struggling in. I would also want to obtain a list of goals or expectations from the student's parents in order to implement a plan that will aid both the student and I to accomplish the targeted goal. I will implement interesting ways to make the subject fun so that the student can build confidence and enjoy the learning process.
I enjoy teaching others and helping them excel in their studies. I can relate to younger students because I have a six year old who required extensive help in the area of reading.
