My comments on tutoring Life Science : 20 Years teaching experience, taught 7/8 science for many years

20 years experience in mostly urban school settings. Experience with students with disabilities. Written curriculum for living environment, earth science and chemistry. Proficient in computer technology and excellent track record in passing regents exams. Attended CIBT summer July 2014 where I learned cutting edge lab techniques and worked with Cornell equipment. Using this equipment allows me to borrow equipment, labs or bringing professors to the school I teach. I use STEM lessons along with cross curriculum lessons in my teaching.
I believe all students can succeed. I use a multi sensory approach to my teaching to allow all students to learn. I also believe in hands on learning in science. I commend respect from my students and have excellent classroom management.

I worked as a tutor in the Learning Center at SUNY Fredonia from September 2008 through December 2009. There I tutored college-level Biology and Chemistry in group and one-on-one settings.
