I feel that all children have the capacity to learn but may not always thrive in a typical classroom setting. They may feel lost or intimidated in a large class and are not able to speak up and express their questions or concerns. I think that everyone has a propensity to learn a language and each student needs someone very patient to go down the path of language learning with them. A student learning a foreign language must speak the language a lot, so I will place an important emphasis on conversational skills. Once a student can converse correctly and comfortably in another language, they will have more fluency in their writing, reading and listening skills.
