Trouble with Math? I can help !

I have teaching certificate and have been substitute teaching. I have 2 Masters degrees,in Mathematics and Education. I have taught at Sylvan Learning Centers and at 3 Community Colleges. I can work with students of all ages. I enjoy helping others learn and will ask a lot of questions to be sure my students understand the material.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the best style, especially for tutoring, is to practice a lot. However, what make my teaching style successful is that when a student of mine does not succeed I can go through step by step and explain where he or she went wrong. Then we try again. I also like to offer plenty of examples and try to relate the problems to something that is easier to understand. This teaching style has been very successful with students in the past.
