I am a graduate of Appalachian State University and am currently a graduate student in Reading at Clemson University. I have a BS in elementary education and absolutely love working with children. I have a minor in English, so I am confident in both my reading skills and writing skills. I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. A Little Bit About Me...

As a history major at Western I had to read many books and an accelerated rate. Also being an English minor I gained analytical and grammatical skills to help better understand pieces of literature I had to read and I can pass those skills to other students.
