From 1980-2008 I was employed as a Junior High Social Studies teacher in Atlantic City. Presently I am employed as an adjunct instructor at the Atlantic Cape Community College teaching World Religions and Introduction to Philosophy. In addition I serve as a writing tutor. My passion for learning has led me to receive an MA in Education from Beaver College and led me to apply to the MA program in Holocaust/Genocide Studies. I received my first tutoring credential in the early 1970's specializing in prep-school placement tests, college-board prep etc. While attending Grad-School (Temple University) in the mid-70's; I worked as a substitute teacher in the Arch-Diocese of Phila. on a high-school level, primarily instructing History. At seventeen I completed the Evelyn Wood speed reading course, not that that is directly relevant to my teaching style. During the past 20 yrs. I have had a credential in several states, but have tutored only on a volunteer level.
