I was a cheerleader from 7th grade until my junior year of college at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where i was a flyer on their competition squad. I also coached a junior rah rah camp throughout high school. I attended the University of Pittsburgh where I majored in social work with a minor in sociology and was one class shy of obtaining my ASL certification. I then graduated and spent a year working as a feeding specialist at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh. I have always been very mathematical, even though I did little to cultivate it. One of my favorite classes in college was a statistics course I took, and the other was a logic class. I love to read books, and I enjoy chess as a hobby. Teaching is my true passion, and I regret leaving a teaching job to pursue a law degree, and I can only hope to pick up where I left off.
