My comments on tutoring Basic Learning Skills : Help kids develop tools to understand the information given to them across subjects. I focus on how it is that your particular student learns.

I am currently a homeschooling mother of three. I have taught at the college level, reading development for pre-readers through adults, as well as having one on one tutoring experience. Experience: Responsible for monitoring training of individuals on shift and delegating work assignments. I would assist in designing training aids and test. I was responsible for scheduling training, perform the training, and then following up with making sure it is recorded and tracked.
I believe teaching style is dictated by the student. I have noticed that some take to hands on training better or repeating of the process till it is learned. I like to teach a subject and have the student repeat it back to me when I am done to make sure they have learned anything from what I have just said.
