I am a third year student studying for an Elementary Education degree through DmACC and Iowa State. I have just completed a year of Elementary Educator math courses. I have also have a degree in Practical Nursing and Limited Radiology Technology. I decided to go back to school to become an Elementary Teacher after being a nurse for several years and also ran a daycare out of my home when my kids were small. I currently work part-time as a Teacher's Associate at Ankeny Community Schools. I am looking to tutor during the summer months and possibly throughout the school year.

I then continued my education at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. I am currently student teaching in Des Moines and will be finished in May. I will have my teaching degree in Elementary and I will also have my endorsement in math with grades K-8. During my years at UNI, I have had many opportunities to work with elementary students. I have created many lessons in all subject areas. I love working with students and it is my passion.
