Critical thinking skills and untraditional ways are what I focus on. However the way someone learns, I will try to set the individual up to show how they learn and work with them. The experience that I have is training the leaders/volunteers in running a troop or assisting the leaders. I always try and connect their interests to the material, so it is more than just words and starts to be interesting. Chemistry is scary to many people, because they try to memorize, it’s too intricate remember everything. I teach the student to understand why and how substances react or behave.
