A Little Bit About Me...

Just recently, I worked with students in New Berlin, WI as part of the Junior Achivement program. While in High School and College, I worked with students in Madison at Whitehorse Middle School on Video Editing, PC Repair, Postmodernism, and Music. I have extensive skills in writing, grammar, spelling, public speaking, and knowledge in and of government--state and national/federal, specifically the Presidency.
I love teaching children and being able to see them learn. It is awesome to see and hear when they finally "get it" or when they understand something that I taught them. Moreover, when a student gives you an answer to a question and uses an example of something that you taught them earlier, it really shows you how quickly they can pick things up. As a young adult I always had a passion for teaching. I began tutoring at a young age and then after high school began working towards my teaching certificate in English. While in college I worked as a private tutor and also volunteered as a tutor at a local middle school. I currently teach high school English and also advise our school's newspaper and yearbook.
I love teaching and working with all types of students. I believe that to enable our children to learn we must first teach them how to be critical thinkers. I have always had a passion for reading and hope to help other students discover their passion.
