I have such a passion for accounting that I want to bring that into the students learning experience. I believe in practice makes perfect. With accounting one of the best approaches I find is to do examples that interest the student. I will often create on the spot examples in order to intrigue the student. I earned my bachelors of science in accounting and was also a member of the accounting society at Geneseo. My experiences with my accounting classes and being a part of many groups in Geneseo helped me use all my accounting skills as well as helping others learn and develop their skills in accounting while volunteering to tutor classmates. Since my college graduation I have been employed by a publically traded company where I am an accountant.
