Each person learns at an individual pace. I use the Gardner system of multiple intelligences to facilitate individual learning style. I do not believe something is impossible to learn, or unteachable. Patience is a moral and ethic rule with my personal professional style.
I have worked with different levels of mental health and emotional maturity for several years. I have spent much of my spare time working within the community at youth centers, soup kitchens and veteran administration homes. I feel that working with many different types and levels of human functioning has enabled me to be more able to adjust my teaching and assisting styles to better serve my community.

A Little Bit About Me...

I did substitute work January-June 1992 September 1992 taught Kindergarden at New York City Schools. This proved too far from home, and the teaching market had a glut so found other work. also took graduate course work in mostly reading. In 2004 worked as reading remediation instructor for Mesa Public Schools in Arizon for 3 years. At same time worked after school for Camp Fire Girls and Boys in the Phoenix doing Math and Reading remediation. I taught 2nd grade for 2007-8 school year and 1st grade from Sept-Dec. of 2008. During this time took 12 of 15 required inservice classes. At that time left due to health issues. I have since relocated to the Knoxville area to be close to family and miss what I love to do, teach
