I believe teaching others a skill or new information is a gift, to both myself and the student. When the light goes off in their head, and the "I got it!" look comes across their face, I feel a sense of accomplishment. In all my years of teaching, I came to the realization that every child is different . When it comes to teaching, I like to learn a little about the child first. Then once I know everything I need to know, I go by what interests the child and I use that to teach them .
