One on one very individualized style tailored to the student/participant. 50% textual material, 50% hands on project completion that will help build a "working portfolio" for the student. Critical thinking and creative problem solving is crucial.
I have reached the age of 50 and my experience includes raising 5 children ALL of which are successful students at Rosary Cathedral and Central Catholic HS in Toledo, Ohio and the University of Toledo. I love teaching students of all ages and I recognize that most students do not get the help they need during the school day, which is why it is important for them to get the help they need outside of class. Each student learns differently and it is important for me to figure out a way that works best for him or her so that I can instill the techniques that will help them throughout their entire educational career. I find that many students get frustrated when they don’t understand and if I take the time to help them at their own pace in a teaching style that works best for them school becomes less stressful.
