I have a simple teaching style. I teach according to the students needs. I try to get a sense of how the student learns best and let them direct me to what they need. I teach the student to teach themselves. I have had great sucess with my approach in the past, as this is a very self-rewarding experience for the student. I have often found that students soon catch-on and then begin to excell on their own. I have used these techniques to tutor algebra, geometry, algebra II and psychology, political science, anatomy and physiology. I love to see that look in a students' eyes when they "get it!"

I love to help people, and I thrive in relationships with others that leave a meaningful impression on both the giver and the receiver. I personally have always tried to achieve academic excellence, and I love to assist others in doing the same. I am a good listener, patient, easy going, and understanding. I recognize that all students learn differently, and I try to tailor my teaching to the individual student's learning style and needs.
At the University of Tampa I earned a BS in Biochemistry. While completing my degree I became knowledgeable in many areas of math and science. I also gained skills in grammar while writing research papers, lab reports, and essays in various classes. I worked in the academic center for excellence on campus for two years tutoring fellow students in chemistry, biology, genetics, and mathematics.
