As a student at Rollins College, I had the opportunity to serve as a peer mentor to a group of first-year students. I also worked in the writing center and as an editor for a literary journal. My studies in anthropology and experience writing an honors thesis on homelessness taught me to think critically and holistically. I have worked as a summer camp counselor for teenagers (June- August 2008 and 2009) and then as co-director of the camp (2010), a role in which I worked with campers ages six to seventeen. These experiences, combined with my graduate study at Goddard College, have given me a strong foundation in the social sciences, creative writing, grammar, editing, and research skills.
