I enjoy teaching and help others learn the subjects of math, science and Spanish. Everyone is different and therefore everyone has a different style of learning. Therefore, my first responsibility as a tutor is to understand the best method of learning of the student and use it to maximize the potential for the student, in grasping the subject. I graduated from Ronald Reagan High School with a 4.6 GPA in the second graduating class ('08), then went on the NC State University to study Engineering, where I jumped in between various Engineering programs for three years before simply deciding to take a break and truly figure out what I want to study. While this may deter several people from choosing me, I know that if you met me and/or any of my teachers from any grade level, they/I could certainly set the record straight, as I am quite a smart person, I have simply struggled with getting my life into an appropriate schedule. A Little Bit About Me...

As seen from above, I have valid tutoring experience in both middle grades and HS. I was in the student teaching program at Wake Forest and upon graduation, I was a substitute teacher in the Winston-Salem, Forsyth County School system. I also participated in the Junior Achievement program in the Piedmont NC region for over 5 years. I am currently a tutor with the "No Child Left Behind Program."
I am a disciplinarian. I have an excellent ability to gain a students attention, keep it and the results of my students have been well above average. I have a knack to bring into the classroom, outside events (latest ball games, Olympics, etc.) to establish a 'bond' between myself and the student. This allows me to gain their confidence as well as not create a bored atmosphere. I find this very important, especially with the more difficult students.

I have also managed a multi-state campaign, and served as Vice President of an organization representing nearly 10,000 graduate/professional students.

I graduated high school in 2003 as the valedictorian of my class. I maintained my high level of academics in college but didn't know what I wanted to do for a career. I graduated in 2007 with my business degree and moved to NC. I worked for a mental health agency helping children in broken homes with school work and being a positive male role model as well as taking pre reqs to return to school for my masters degree in physical therapy.
