A Little Bit About Me...

My experience is mainly teaching Language & Reading to Pre-Kindergarten thru Fourth Grade students. I earned my Bachelor degree in Education and minors in Science and Business. I have 20 years of experience teaching Title 1 Reading & Language Arts.
I believe in hands-on teaching. I basically teach students who are below grade level in Reading & Language Arts. I enjoy discoveries. I teach constructively by using audio, visual and student participation. I feel every child can learn but in his or her own way. Teachers have to discover what works for their students. Each child is unique and learns differently. I make my students feel special. I am a firm believer that a child has to have confidence within themselves in order to achieve. Students have to received motivation.
