My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : Excel is a really useful tool for crunching numbers and once you get the idea of how the formulas work, it's an invaluable one

My teaching style is usually hands on however where possible, I also have the ability to tutor remotely, greatly increasing the opportunity for distance learning.

I delight in helping students to acquire new knowledge and there is satisfaction in having students thank the teacher after a class. I love learning math and science and I enjoy sharing the same love of learning with my students. I like seeing the look on their face when they really get it! Students requiring tutoring are sometimes in academic distress and have anxiety therefore I have a more easy going and patient style of tutoring than most. I believe I'm an effective tutor because I remember the exact same difficulties and questions I had as a student and can relate to their frustration.
