I believe I have a talent for taking a complex subject, and simplifying it in such a way that anyone can understand it. That is how I was able to successfully tutor many fellow students since high school. It is also how I managed to do well enough myself in science classes.
While working for Professor Weiss at the Pennsylvania State University as an undergraduate researcher for four years, I gained experience in scanning tunneling microscopy, self-assembled monolayers, molecular electronics, and nanotechnology generally. I independently designed and carried out experiments relating to thermodynamics, scanning tunneling microscopy, and self-assembled monolayers. I was a part of other research projects involving the same, as well as nanoparticles, molecular electronics, and surface catalysis. Also , I was an active chemistry tutor, officially and unofficially.

I've tutored kids within the inner cities of Atlanta, through a program called Emory reads. As a tutor I was responsible for helping them with their homework which included all subjects. I've also served as a teacher's aid, my responsibility was to ensure that the kids paid attention and address any problems in understanding that came up during the lesson.
I use a lot of repetition and the asking of questions to ensure that students are learning concepts. I also try to give them analogies to help them remember things. I love working with children, as the oldest in a big family, I have often served as caretaker while my father is at work. A Little Bit About Me...

As a tutor at Eastern University I came to the realization that not all students learned in the same way.
