I have currently finished 2nd-year Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Limerick, Ireland. I love working with people and helping them in their studies and Musical interests. My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Not a lot of people seem to care about what trigonometry actually means. First thing they have in mind is sine, cosine and tangent with theta tagged on them. Trigonometry comes from combination of Greek word "trigon" meaning triangle and "metron" meaning measure. Therefore, trigonometry is the measure of triangle regarding its sides, height, angle and areas. So where do other geometric figures come then? We still see sines, cosines and tangents, right? Well, every geometric figure at a minute level can be thought of as a triangle and thus those sines, cosines and tangents. Trigonometry deals with various identical relationships of sides and angles, henceforth.

I involve students a lot during the learning period. I consistently ask them questions about the topic and let them think for a while. I give them as much information as possible so that they do not miss any information while solving problems. I make students write. That is how they learn. I consistently give students concepts and them demonstrate with sample questions.
