As a recent graduate of Lock Haven University, I have obtained dual bachelor's degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration. Throughout the course of my college career, I have completed several accounting related projects including auditing cases, creating financial statements, etc. I have helped several students with accounting classes over the past four years, completed an accounting internship and am very educated in the subject. I come from a teaching family, and continue to learn from teachers myself. I feel that because I am still eager to continue to learn new things, I can appreciate a good teacher. I myself need good teachers, and I would not provide a student with anything but that. I am a hard worker and give 110% for every job that needs to be done. I believe in constructivism. Students learn more when they make their own learning. They need to see the real world application of the material and how it applies to them. I try to create tasks that are hands-on, use authentic materials, and encourage students to collaborate with others and think outside of the box. I have taught high school in three different countries: Germany, UK and USA. I am passionate about foreign languages and social studies, and I care about my students.
