I have many ways of teaching. I like to make the experience rewarding, fun and educational. As I continue to work with others I find their strengths and weaknesses and do the best I can to make the experience fun and as stress free as possible. I know that it can be tough learning new subjects, however, if you put your mind to it, there is always a way. I use games, activities and also outside projects to learn as much as possible. I am 23 years old and strive for excellence constantly. I currently have two jobs and a child. I work hard for my family and make sure that I do my best in everything that is put in front of me. I have taught high school math for nine years and enjoy helping students excel in mathematics. I have taught the following classes: geometry, pre algebra and algebra 1. I have also taught middle school math during sumner school. I really enjoy mathematics and would love to help students not only understand math but like it. I recieved an Associates in Applied Science for Criminal justice at KCKCC. While studying at Kansas state, I was enrolled in the Chemistry major, completing Chemistry and Calculus 1 and 2. I have also recieved many gold medal competition awards in Individual as well as group singing competition. I recently took online classes in order to achieve my Masters of Science in Education. I participated in ROTC and majored in Math and Physics at the University of Colorado. After college, I joined the Air Force and worked in the airfield operations career field. After two years, I was chosen to become an instructor, where I fell in love with teaching. After separating from the military, I substitute taught for a year, primarily focusing on high school math. In 2007, I moved to Las Vegas, and I worked for a Tutoring Club. I taught math and my students ranged in age from 8 years through adult. I love teaching and working with students of all ages.
