Saxophone is one of my top subjects! I have spent a total of 14 years of my life (exactly half of my life) on the Woodwind Instruments, Clarinet Primarily. I currently hold a Music Education degree with an instrumental focus on Clarinet. I studied under Christopher G. for 5 years who recently began playing with the NY Philharmonic. I have performed in various musicals, cantatas, Wind Ensembles, and Bands and have provided numerous private lessons on the clarinet as well! I love the Clarinet!

I have no preference, I thoroughly enjoy the one on one experience and watching my individual students grow right before my eyes. However, I also enjoy working with groups of students at a time, no more than 3-4 students in a small group. I thrive in the master class setting of instruction as well, so I am completely open to all types of instruction, as long as my listener is growing.
My passion for music education was birthed through a childhood of great music exposure and music teachers. As a college graduate in Music Education, I sought to follow this passion for music and shared it with the hundreds of young lives I would teach. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe students will always be frustrated till they learn the material and if you make it interesting and related to them personally it tends to elivate the frustration and to feel more comfortable with the material. I am presently looking at obtaining my teaching certificate to teach elementary school at one point and time. My father's family is spanish so I speak a some. I am not fully fluent.
I have always had an interest in teaching. I graduated from college with my AA while working with the University of Michigan Department of Hospital Finance Training. From there I took some time off to finish my degrees. While going for my BA I worked with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was elected President of the Auxiliary and of the District. As the first generation college graduate, I am driven to higher education and helping students behind me obtain their education goals. I have earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Public Administration which has given me understanding that higher education is obtainable for all.
