My comments on tutoring College Algebra : College freshman level

I am a graduate of Chowan University with a BA in Mathematics. While at Chowan I was one of the lead math tutors where I tutored college students in college algebra, intro to college algebra, applied calculus, and a few local high school students in geometry. Most of the time I worked with single students but I am also able to manage 2 or 3 at a time and/or groups of 2 or 3.

Teaching someone something that I already know and something they should know or what to know makes me happy. I substitute before and volunteer my time a lot with daycare, Boys and Girls Club, after school programs, and even at church. I 19 and have an Associate in Science and an Associate in Arts. I have been taking college classes since I was a Jr in High School , and I have been tutoring my friends and younger relatives since the 6th grade. I have tutored subjects ranging from linear algebra to college calculus. I have never done formal tutoring ,and I think the most I have ever been paid for my tutoring services was a meal at cookout.

I worked one-on-one with students that were having difficulty in College Mathematics, Computer Technology, and Chemistry.
