Public Relations is one of my top subjects!

I learned very early in my career that humor is essential to the learning process. I believe that lessons are learned much easier when they are connected to everyday life, such as current events and work or recreational pursuits. I have worked in libraries and am an avid reader and strong proponent of books. However, I am equally comfortable working on PC and Mac computers as well, and know Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop and other CS Suite programs.

My teaching style consists of finding that unique style that will suit each individual student. Growing up, I noticed that it was very hard for certain students to grasp certain concepts because they were not engaged in the teaching method. It is no secret that everyone learns a certain way, and no two ways are ever the same. I believe that my patience, my calm demeanor, and habit of wanting to make learning something fun rather than a job has certainly helped me in my education. I also am a big proponent of having children set goals for themselves. Setting goals makes you work harder without feeling the pressure, and I've learned that once children reach that goal they will just want to go higher.

One place I belong is teaching and working with children. Anyone that knows me and that has worked with me would probably say that. I don't teach right now due to a desire to develop a real estate career so that I can end up in the classroom. Having said that, I really enjoy teaching.
