I supported myself throughout college and beyond in the Food and Beverage Service Industry and took a job in the Insurance Industry after graduating. I am now in the process of starting my own company and am looking for extra work as well. While going to college at the UW – Eau Claire, I've been a math and statistics tutor for the past four years. I've also been a Teacher’s Assistant for a statistics Professor where my duties consisted of running review sessions for the class before quizzes and exams along with grading homework and exams. I have completed four statistics courses dealing with different areas of statistics. I also have experience in one-on-one tutoring. Over the past four years I’ve tutored seven students individually meeting at the library to work. Last year, though, I worked with a student who had Cerebral Palsy. I enjoy working with inquiring minds and solving problems. I teaching style is individualized because everyone learns in their own way. I like to get to know the prson by asking a few questions that can open up the problem as to why they do not understand a certain subject. Once I have a understanding of what the learning problem is, then I can come up with a game plan to how to make them understand how to conquer their problem.

My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way.
As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language.

While I was a student at the College of Menominee Nation I was a tutor in the accounting and math areas. I am also very good with computers. I have been out of school for a few years, but I am always willing to help out anyone who had a question, and If I can help them out it's all the better.
I am not a teacher, but I like to think that I can help out in a way that the student or person I am tutoring will learn. I love working with people, and anyway that I can help them learn better makes me feel better. I have children of my own and help them out with school work.
