I truly enjoy teaching. I believe that a child can learn anything, as long as they have a supportive learning environment. I belive that I have a unique teaching style. I am a whole language and phonetic teacher. I like to teach my children using the multiple intelligences, because we all learn in different ways. When I incoropate my lessons using the multiple intelligences I see great achievements in each and every child in my classroom. The joy that is shown on their faces when they have mastered reading is a very rewarding feeling. I am a 60-year old man who has taught every subject at every grade level as an artist in the schools for over 35 years. I currently substitute in all the grades in Hart County so I have had to demonstrate knowledge of every subject at every grade level. I have been in the classrooms of public schools every day for about 60% of my adult life. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Oberlin College with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Math. I have tutored a lot over the years, and whereas I am comfortable handling any subject, my particular strong point is Math.
